TERMS and CONDITIONS OF THE ANNUAL STROKE SURVIVORS FOUNDATION FUNDRAISING GOLF DAY
Payment
Full payment for player’s spots and/or hole sponsorship is required within 14 days of the
event.
Dress Code Regulations
(1) ON COURSE:
- Short Socks predominantly white
- Collared Golf Shirts and Golf T-Shirts
- Tailored Slacks or Knee Length Shorts
- Golf Shoes with Soft Spikes
(2) CLUBHOUSE:
- Smart Casual or Golf Attire
- No T-Shirts or Sandals
Golf Playing Rules
- All golfers must have their own set of golf clubs.
- Cell phones should be on silent at all times.
- The usual courtesies are expected from players:
- Repair pitch marks
- Fill divots and
- Rake bunkers.
Spotters
One spotter is provided per fourball. Any additional spotters will be for your own account.
Golf carts
- Two golf carts are provided per fourball.
- No golf carts are allowed on the tees and greens surrounding.
- Please drive on cart paths & marked areas where possible.
Competition
- Fourball Alliance with two scores to count.
- If you do not have an official handicap, you must play off a maximum of 9 (men) and 18
(ladies) in order to qualify for positions 1 st – 3 rd . - If you cannot score, please pick up your ball.
- Please hand your cards to the Proshop immediately after play.
Count-out Rules
- The team with the lowest combined handicap shall be declared the winner.
- Should a tie still exist, scores will be compared hole to hole, beginning at the first.
Liability
The club, the orgaisers and sponsors shall under no circumstances be held liable for loss or
damage to property of any member or guests brought onto the premises of the Club,
whether occasioned by theft or otherwise. Nor shall the Club be held responsible or in any
way be liable for personal injury or harm caused to members or their guests on the club and/or grounds.
Cashless
Please note, Houghton Golf Course is a cashless facility and doesn’t have facilities to withdraw or accept money. Payment is to be made by card only.
